At Room Inside we provide counselling and psychotherapy services to a wide range of people in Calderdale and beyond who are seeking professional support. We have a commitment to therapy being as affordable as possible, so we operate a sliding scale of fees to try and accommodate those on more limited incomes.
Based in central Halifax, we work from a comfortable and private practice room in Croft Myl, a beautifully renovated mill building. We are registered members of the BACP and work with a high degree of care and skill, providing help and support in a respectful, compassionate and down to earth way. This has been recognized in our clients’ consistently positive feedback over the years.
We have an Integrative approach to therapy – this means we use a careful blend of different theoretical approaches depending on your needs or priorities. We see clients for both shorter/fixed term work and longer term/open-ended therapy. This might mean supporting you in managing a current problem, or exploring something deeper that has been painful or damaging for many years.
We work with adults and young people from age 16+ on the full range of issues and difficulties that can make being human a challenge. We also offer some couples therapy. Click here for more information
You are very welcome to arrange a free introductory session with us so that you have the opportunity to discuss what you need from therapy and find out if what we offer at Room Inside is for you.
**Please note: After being part of Room Inside from the beginning, Lou will be leaving at the end of September in order to focus on her on-line client work and supervision. Additional info can be found on her profile and the contacts page.
