There are so many private therapists locally, how do I choose which one to go to?

The most important factor for successful therapy is the quality of the relationship that exists between you and your therapist. Being able to trust your therapist and their skills as a professional isn’t a lot to ask for. There also needs to be ‘a good fit’, a real sense that it will be productive to for you to work together with your therapist on the specific difficulties you are experiencing.

Because this is so important, at Room Inside we offer a free face-to-face introductory session. Here you can discuss what you’re looking for from therapy, discover how at ease you are with your therapist, how comfortable you feel in our practice room, and ask any questions you may have. It will then be much clearer whether or not what we offer is right for you. You are under no obligation to book further sessions
