How many sessions will I neED?
You can have as many or as few sessions as you feel you need. We usually suggest attending every week, especially for shorter term therapy. We have a lot of experience in working with 12 session contracts as this time-frame can provide a focus and momentum that many clients prefer. A lot of useful ground can be covered with a skillful practitioner during this time.
Clients who choose a fixed number of sessions to begin often continue into a more open-ended way of working, or have a break and return at a later stage if they feel the need.
For some clients, a longer-term, more exploratory or open-ended way of working may suit them better due to the issues that they are dealing with. These clients may wish to attend regularly for a year or two, or more.
